I am still trying to find my verbs. The list of possibilities seems smaller because I am living, coping, adapting to Long COVID, which makes some verbs impossible or debilitating. Thanks for the thoughtful piece.
Thank you for reading and sharing this. I don't have LC, but I have been struggling with chronic pain and osteoarthritis, and as a result, I have had to shave off more of my previous pre-pandemic "verbs" than I can count from my current life experience, so I find this very relatable. And I would like to add one very critical verb to the list -- actually to both lists thanks to your insightful and kind comment which is RESTING- something that serves all of us who are attuning to our bodies in the ways they need. There's another one I left out- ATTUNING! Feel free to send me more in the comments - I truly appreciate this kind of engagement with readers.

Some that come to mind in the moment…
RESTING
ACCOMMODATING (you had this one, emphasizing because it’s a biggun)
ADVOCATING
I will curate a list and come back to share if and when my brain lets me remember to do so. 😅
🙌🏻🙌🏻 yes to these! Thank you!
